Through the use of Jotun and WEST SYSTEM products “Mitch” a Picton GTS170 ski boat was restored from a garden ornament to a beautiful craft with many years of use ahead of it. List of works included the re-bonding of hull and deck, repairs and reinforcement to the transom, removal, replacement and the sheathing of floor throughout. The epoxy repair and reinforcement of numerous scrapes and impact damage to the exterior. The gelcoat on the foredeck was completely removed, filled with epoxy and faired. Mitch was then sprayed with Jotun Megaprimer and finished with Jotun two pack Megagloss products. The Windscreen, seating, carpeting and black walnut console were fitted along with the bonding of the deck hardware.
On being taken to the south of France the owner sent the following message:
“Bonjour Mark et Julie,
Mitch is beautiful and goes like stink! Started first time, reversed her straight off the trailer and out onto the lake. Bit bumpy last night but flat as a pancake this morning so opened her up a bit. 55 mph without trimming her up. Will leave the kids on the beach when I do that.
Skied behind her this morning and she looks even better from the water than when sitting in her.
Can’t thank you both enough!”
